Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 40: 25-31

He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might HE INCREASES STRENGTH – Isaiah 40: 29

The world is full of conflicts and pressures, but when we focus on God more than on our struggles, He’ll release His endless supply of strength to overcome discouragement and weariness. He promised Moses that His outstretched arm – the Arm of His Strength – would rescue the Israelites from Egyptian bondage: “…I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm…” (Exo.6:6). God’s mighty arm is outstretched for you. He is saying: “By my Arm of Strength, I will liberate you from bondage, render every yoke useless, and redeem and restore you”! So shall it be!

All Strength comes from God. His power and strength are sufficient to carry us through the tortuous tracks and battles of life. Christians learn to surrender to God’s supply of strength. Ironically, His strength is made perfect in our weakness. It is not our human strength that is needed but the strength that God willingly and abundantly supplies. The Rock of our Strength will supply us abundantly: The LORD will give strength to His people; the LORD will bless His people with peace” (Psa.29:11). I belong to the LORD; therefore I am qualified by grace, for His Strength and His Peace!

What Joy it is, to know that you can rest in God’s strength no matter the troubles you may be facing. He wants to show Himself strong on your behalf: “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…” (2Chr.16:9). You only need to surrender to His Strength and let His Peace take over. You cannot fully serve God without full surrender to His Strength!

Surrendering to God’s Strength is to wait on Him and have your strength renewed – to get fresh strength (Isa.40:31). As you submit to His Strength, you will rise on wings like eagles, run and not get weary, and walk and not grow weak. To surrender to God’s Strength is to “seek the LORD and His Strength; seek His Presence continually” (1Chr.16:11). Then, you can say with Paul, the apostle: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Phil.4:13).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
