GOD WILL ENLARGE YOUR TERRITORY

Bible Meditation:
Genesis 26:1-22

And he removed from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land” – Genesis 26:22

We serve the God of Increase, the God of Divine Enlargement. At any point in time – even now – there is an aspect of your life that requires God’s supernatural touch for divine enlargement. But first, God must enlarge your heart. It all begins in the heart; in the spirit-man. God will enlarge your heart to embrace His Word (His purposes, plans, and promises) and the promptings of His Spirit. Psalm 119:32 says, “I will run in the way of Your commandments, for You shall enlarge my heart.”

With a heart quickened to apprehend divine impulses, God will then enlarge your coast. Jabez was born in sorrow and stigmatized from the womb, but he cried to the God of Israel: “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and ENLARGE MY TERRITORY…” God granted his request (1Chr.4:10). God is not a respecter of persons. He, who granted Jabez’ requests will grant yours too! He, who promised to enlarge the borders of Israel, will extend your territory (Exo.34:24; Deut.19:8).

There is a destined territory for you in life, an ever-increasing circle of influence, from your Jerusalem, to your Judea, to your Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth (Acts 1:8). You were not created for mediocrity! You were not designed for average existence! You were born for a life of temporal and eternal impact. You were framed and fashioned for exploits! God's eternal intent is for you to manifest the fullness of your potential. Even though the devil is vehemently opposed to that, God will never give up on His plan to enlarge your coast! You also must never give up, or give in to despondency.

Isaac never gave up: he dug and dug and dug, until Rehoboth! Beyond the famine in Gerar, the Philistine’s hostility in Esek (the place of contention) and Sitnah (the place of hatred), Isaac pushed through in God’s Strength, to Rehoboth (Gen.26). Although God will enlarge you sovereignly, He wants you to cooperate with His leading, promptings, and instructions. He will quicken His Word in your heart to prepare you for the enlargement He has ordained for you: “ENLARGE the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your habitations; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes” (Isa.54:2). Get ready; your enlargement has just begun! Persist. Dig your wells until you break through into Rehoboth.

Prayer:
Lord, prepare me for my Rehoboth; empower me to persist in digging my destiny-wells until I occupy every room ordained for me, in Jesus’ Name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
