GOD WILL ANNOUNCE YOU FOR HIS GLORY

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt” – Genesis 41:41

God has the practice of announcing His anointed ones for His purposes and Glory! He uses various avenues to announce His anointed: our callings, grace, gifts, supernatural signs, wonders, miracles and even angelic proclamations! At Jordan and at the Transfiguration, God the Father announced His Son (Matt.3:17; 17:5). Again, when God had a purpose to fulfil in preserving a posterity for Israel, He chose a vessel, named Joseph and announced him in due time. He could no longer be hidden, even if he wanted to!

When the time came for God to announce Joseph, the dungeon immediately vomited him and he was hastily prepared and ushered into the Palace: “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh” (Gen.41:14). Psalm 105:17-22 confirms that when the word of the LORD had tried Joseph, he “who was sold as a slave,” whose feet were hurt with fetters, was announced by the same Word! As you persist and pursue your life’s purpose by faith, every demonic power of the dungeon is dismantled in Jesus name.

God announced Joseph through his unique anointing and gifts: “A man's gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men” (Pro.18:16). The moment God gave notice of Joseph’s gift in the ears of Pharaoh, a chain of actions was set in motion: “The king sent and released him, the ruler of the people let him go free. He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions, to bind his princes at his pleasure, and teach his elders wisdom” (Psa.105:20-22). The slave boy of yesterday suddenly became the Commander of the forces of Egypt and Teacher of their senators!

Beloved, when God announces you, no man can denounce or demote you. In Christ, your gifts and skills will make room for you. Kings, nobles, people of influence and affluence will send for you. You will no longer be hidden or held bound in the dungeon of ignominy or mediocrity. You will begin to exercise dominion in your field. God also announces His people corporately! On the day of Pentecost, He announced His Church, even though they were holed up in the Upper Room! When you begin to flow in your calling and gifts, God will announce you! Your gifts will define you supernaturally and make a sure way for you! God will bring you to His limelight – for His Glory! Alleluia!
