Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 46: 3-10

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done…” – Isaiah 46:10a

The GOD of KNOWLEDGE exists outside of Time; hence He knows everything that has been, is and will be: “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure” (Isa.46:10). God is fully aware of all that’s presently happening on the earth. Even though He is that same God of Adam and Eve, of Abraham and the Patriarchs, and of the Old Testament saints, He is the God of the New Testament Church, and still relates to contemporary events. The Lord expressed care for His people when they were in bondage in Egypt millennia ago (Exo.3:7). He still expresses that same care for us today!

The God of Knowledge exists outside of Space. Nothing and no one can hide from His Knowledge. He knows the past, the present, and the future. He has Perfect Knowledge of everything, both of what is actual and what is possible. He knows all things with total accuracy. Because God is eternal, He knows everything instantaneously and simultaneously! Because He is immutable, His Knowledge never varies. It doesn’t increase or decrease. He never has a slip of mind or after-thoughts. His knowledge is comprehensive and all-encompassing. Nothing lies outside its scope. He knows: every bird of the mountains and beast of the field (Psa.50:11; Mt.10:29); and the number of stars (Psa.147:4).

Most important of all: God knows us and everything about us. Scripture speaks symbolically of His eyes seeing all things: “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him” (2Chr.16:9a). God sees into and knows deep inside the heart of every person! Our thought life is not as private as we imagined! All hearts and lives are open before the God of Knowledge! He knows our thoughts before we think them – all the time. David mused: “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off” (Psa.139:2).

God knows our thoughts and those of others about us: “For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and KNOWS ALL THINGS” (1 Jh.3:20). He knows all our ways; the whole course and conduct of our lives, from the womb even to old age (vv.3-4; Psa.139:3). “For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his paths” (Pro.5:21). God knows what our future holds. What a privilege it is to have Him as Ally and Father, Who knows our end from the beginning! What a comfort and confidence to capitalise! Let’s declare like Job: “But HE KNOWS the WAY that I take; when He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold” (Job 23:10).

Lord, may we find comfort and confidence in You as GOD of KNOWLEDGE Who knew and declared our end from the beginning, in Jesus’ Name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
