Bible Meditation:
2 Chronicles 16: 6-13

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to SHEW HIMSELF STRONG in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him… – 2 Chronicles 16:9a

A prominent aspect of God’s Glory is His almighty Power – His all-surpassing Strength. A key question is: How does God display His Power or show His Strength? We have noted in an earlier meditation that: PEOPLE are central to the purpose of God’s POWER. The God of the Bible primarily focuses His Power in the direction of People. God doesn’t display His Power by changing the colour of the sun at a whim, rearranging the galaxies to dazzle our eyes, or freezing a lightning bolt as a trophy to His strength. Instead, in His love and compassion for needy people, God has chosen to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him (2Chron.16:9).

This divine pattern is consistent throughout Scripture. From the plagues that rained upon Egypt, to the dividing of the Red Sea, to the marvel of manna in the wilderness, to the miraculous virgin birth, to Jesus’ diverse healings and miracles and ultimately to the power of the resurrection, our Almighty God has consistently chosen to display His Power and demonstrate His Strength to bless, protect and preserve His people.

Beloved, be assured that God delights in showing Himself strong in the challenges of your life. He has chosen to expend His divine Power on the needs of your life. Do not ever be like King Asa who relied on the arm of flesh rather than seek the Lord. First, he relied on the military power of the king of Syria (v.7); and later on the physicians, instead of the Great Physician (v.12). As God consistently proves His Power on your behalf, always acknowledge and remember to give Him the Glory!

Lord, teach me to trust in Your Almighty Arm which is more-than-able to deliver, bless, protect and preserve me in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
