Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 41: 8-16

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand’ – Isaiah 41:10

Closely connected to the Divine Presence are GOD’S PROMISES of PROTECTION: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand’ (Isa.41:10). God doesn't want us to live in fear. Over and over He tells us in His Word, to fear not:

  • “Be strong and of good courage, DO NOT FEAR nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you” (Deut.31:6).
  • But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “FEAR NOT, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine” (Isa.43:1).
  •  “But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard…” (Lk.1:13a).
  • “Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God” (Lk.1:30).
  • “Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy…” (Lk.2:10a).

As in the days of Zacharias, Mary, and the shepherds, Capstone Capsule is like God’s angel today, saying to you: “FEAR NOT; do not be afraid, for your prayer is heard, you have found favour with God, and good tidings are coming your way”!  With all the terrible things happening in the world, the natural tendency is to be afraid and full of fear! Thank God, we are in the Season of Perfection of Divine Promises. His Word is quickening our hearts to overcome the temptation to fear.

Over the next couple of days, we shall prayerfully meditate on the promises of God concerning Protection, Divine Defence, Supernatural Security and Divine Safety, from the devil, evil, forces of darkness, temptations, adversities, calamities, dangers, disasters, pandemics, and any form of harm or destruction. God’s Promises of Protection cover all! He says: “Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.  You shall seek them and not find them – those who contended with you. Those who war against you shall be as nothing, as a nonexistent thing. For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you’” (Isa.41:11-13). Do you believe His Word? You’ll have what you believe!

Of course, one cannot conclude that victims of tragic events are sinners or people who do not love God or are not loved by Him. However, if we walk with God and heed His direction, He promises to protect us: “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (Psa.91:9-11). God has given His angels charge over me, to keep me safe in all my ways. In the New Testament, the Promise of Protection is firmly rooted in the very Words of the Lord Jesus Christ: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Lk.10:19).

Whatever I may face or whatever comes my way, God’s promises stand true and immutable. Any mystery I cannot explain, such as evil happening to supposedly good people, shall be revealed by-and-by. What I do know without an iota of doubt is that God is faithful and keeps His promises. I am confident that there is a place of protection for me and all mine as I live in God’s Presence, longing daily for His Nearness, and walking in the obedience of faith and patience. I WILL NOT FEAR!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
