Bible Meditation:
Isaiah 42: 1-9

Thus saith God the LORD, He that CREATED the heavens, and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; He that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: – Isaiah 42: 5

The first thing we learn about God in the Scriptures is His Might, His Power, and His Omnipotence. The Bible never argues about whether God exists or not; everywhere it assumes and asserts the fact of His Being. Majestically, the opening verse in the book of Genesis says: “In the beginning God…” The paramount purpose is not to persuade us that God is, but to tell us WHO God is and WHAT He does by His POWER; and the first thing we see Him do in the Scriptures is to act creatively.

Contrary to the notion of some people that the only reference to God’s Creative Power is that which appears in the first two chapters of Genesis, the truth is actually woven inextricably into the very texture of the entire Bible – both the Old and the New Testament. Today’s meditation text – Isaiah 42 – is a classic example. You cannot have an accurate conception of God or His correct contemplation unless you think of Him as all-powerful. He who cannot do what he wills and pleases cannot be God. God has a will to act; He also has the necessary power to execute that will. When you look upward to the midnight sky and behold its wonder, be reassured that an all-powerful God brought them into being simply by saying: “Let them be.”

As you become intimate with the God of creation and better understand the working of His creative power, He endows and empowers you to become a productive “extension” of His creative ability. No wonder, when God demonstrated His creative power through Paul and Barnabas by the miraculous healing of the cripple in Lystra, the people almost deified them as “gods” (Acts 14:8-15). Beloved-in-Christ, the One who laid the foundation of the earth and framed the worlds by His Word has firmly laid the foundation of your life. More than that, He wants you to take responsibility and partner with Him in His continuing work of creation, by framing YOUR WORLD by HIS WORD! It is the Lord’s desire to empower you so that you may find your unique place and fulfil your destined purpose in His eternal Agenda.

Lord, enlighten me the more about Your Power in Creation, that I may be empowered to find my place and fulfil my purpose in Your eternal Agenda in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
