Bible Meditation:
Genesis 1: 1-31

For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them – Ephesians 2:10

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the CALLED according to His PURPOSE. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified” – Romans 8:28-30

“Success is not man’s idea. It originated from God and is a consistent life-style with Him. God the creator of all things has specific purposes for the things He creates. A study of the first chapter of the book of Genesis reveals God’s purpose for each aspect of creation. “And God said let there be light and there was light” (Gen. 1:3). What was the purpose of light? It was to dispel darkness, serve as energy for the life forms and create time. Light became light because God called it so.

“And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so” (Gen.1:11).

What was the reason for the creation of grass, herbs and fruit trees? God created them to produce food for the man He eventually created. These few verses of scripture, reveal God as a GOD of DESIGN, CREATIVITY and PURPOSE. He has a reason for everything. He has a reason for you.

God has been successful in His career as Creator, Restorer and Saviour because He knows who He is. Man was successful as God’s agent on the earth as long as he accepted God’s commission and purpose. That commission was to faithfully keep the Garden of Eden, and from there extend the rule of God throughout the whole world. Man’s failure arose from his embracing not just a different purpose, but also a much lower purpose. This brings us to the first major principle in discovering purpose. Your purpose is what God calls you!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
