FINISHING WITH JOY

Date:
Sunday, July 31, 2016
Bible Meditation:
Acts 20: 17-38

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might FINISH MY COURSE WITH JOY, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God – Acts 20:24

It has been a truly exciting and fulfilling Journey of Joy in this month of July. It is not sufficient to have fleeting seasons of happiness or momentary experiences of Joy. God wants you to march triumphantly through life and ultimately finish your course with JOY. Then, like Paul you can declare: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing” (2 Tim.4:7-8).

We’ll end this month’s meditations on a prophetic note. Declare and decree the following in the precious Name of Jesus:

  • My head has been anointed with the Oil of Joy and Gladness.
  • My eyes of understanding are open to the Pathways of Joy.
  • My feet have been set and established on the Pathways of Joy.
  • Where I have sown in tears, I begin to reap in Joy.
  • The Lord has opened floodgates of Joy in my heart and life.
  • The Lord has turned sorrow into joy and sadness into gladness in my life.
  • Weeping is wiped away from my life; my morning of Joy has dawned.
  • Sack-clothes of sadness have been removed; I am clothed with gladness.
  • By God’s Word I am empowered to experience and express His fullness of Joy.
  • By the resurrection revelation, I walk in enduring and abounding Joy
  • On this journey, my mouth is filled with laughter and my tongue with singing.
  • I shall be abundantly satisfied as I drink from the river of God’s pleasures.
  • I will never be deprived of Joy, but shall be continually surprise by Joy.
  • Celebrations and jubilations shall never depart from my domain.
  • I have no alliance with agony, partnership with pain, agreement with grief.
  • My Journey of Joy shall never be truncated or terminated.
  • I will finish well and finish strong in the Race of Life.
  • I will finish my course triumphantly and with Joy.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
