FAITH RESPONDS IN PRAISE

Bible Meditation:
2 Chronicles 20: 1-25

And when they BEGAN TO SING and to PRAISE, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten – 2 Chronicles 20:22

FAITH responds in PRAISE! Often in the scriptures, Praise is the corresponding action to faith.

Praise is God’s battle strategy for bringing about His Plan of Victory in our lives. In the days of Jehoshaphat, it did not make natural sense for the king to appoint singers and praise-leaders to go ahead of the army against the hosts of the Ammonites; but by instrumentality of Praise, God discomfited and defeated the enemy’s strategy. The people didn’t even have to fight. God routed the enemy for them. The adversaries imploded.

Praise is the supernatural weapon by which the groaning of prisoners is soothed and appointments with death are broken: “This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall PRAISE the LORD. For He hath looked down from the height of His sanctuary…To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death” (Psa.102:18-20). The faith of Paul and Silas responded with Praise and Prison walls gave way: “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang PRAISES unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed” (Acts: 25-26). Faith sings through the night, to create miracles at dawn! The Noise of Praise confuses and disbands the armies of the enemy (1 Sam.4:5-7).

The Praise-response in the face of faith-challenges confuses the enemy. Beloved, your Victory in Faith may be waiting for your SONGS of PRAISE! When praise is raised, God arises. When God arises, His enemies are scattered (Psa.68:1). That problem you are faced with is not bigger than your God. Stop magnifying the enemy. Stop complaining; start praising. Stop sighing; start singing. Send Judah (meaning Praise) first, and the battle will be won!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
