Bible Meditation:
Matthew 8: 1-4

And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if You WILL, You CAN make me clean – Matthew 8:2

Faith is a fact of life, like the need to breathe. Faith is demanded for the entire business of life. However, apart from the WILL of God, life could be a matter of probabilities. God is the Unchanging Changer. He is not affected by changes. The Christian confidence is that what God WAS, He IS and always WILL BE (Rev.1:8). God’s Will is His Covenant; it cannot be challenged or changed (Psa.89:34). His Will frames the future and shapes our tomorrow. Our security is in His Will: “…he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever” (1Jh.2:17). His Will is the key that brings Order into life’s uncertainties and temporal chaos. Our faith can only stand strong and secure on His Will.

As great multitudes followed Jesus, a leper dared to show up with an attitude of worship and said: “If you WILL, you CAN make me clean” (Matt.8:2). Natural human thinking would put the cart before the horse and say, “If you CAN, you WILL.” The truth is: God always CAN. The question is: WILL He? The Lord responded positively to the leper’s faith, a faith that saw that everything rested on Christ’s WILL: “And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I WILL; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed” (Matt.8:3). The leper’s faith hinged on Christ’s will and it overcame leprosy!

If faith is hinged on God’s Will, then we must ask: What is God willing to do? The answer is simple: HIS WORD is HIS WILL. His Will is not hidden; it is explicitly revealed in His Word. The Bible was not written simply to tell us what God CAN DO. We know what He can. God is Almighty; there is nothing He cannot do. More importantly, the Bible reveals to us what God WILL DO. Scriptures build our understanding of God, His heart, mind, character and deeds. His Word shows us what He will do. But there is a devil out there who wants to hinder God’s Will; hence, the Lord taught us to pray, “Thy kingdom come. Thy WILL be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matt.6:10). God’s arms are open in willing welcome whenever we come to Him. It is God’s Will to forgive iniquities, to heal diseases, to redeem from destruction, and to provide for, promote, prosper and protect His people (Psa.103:2-6). It is His will to empower His children to experience blessed, clean, holy, sanctified, visionary, victorious and triumphant lives.

Prayer:
Lord, my faith is in Your Will; reveal more of Your Will in Your Word, and let the fullness of it be done in my life here on earth as it has been ordained in heaven, in Jesus name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
