DIVINE PROCESS FOR SUCCESS

“For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” – Joshua 1:8b

The Lord God unveiled to Joshua the DIVINE PROCESS for SUCCESS: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (Jos.1:8). Today’s meditation passage explores the necessary steps to transition from promise to performance through divine strength. Following Moses’ death, Joshua was tasked with leading Israel into the Promised Land filled with obstacles. God provided a spiritual blueprint for success: navigating challenges requires activating the Word through consistent meditation and obedience. Similarly, supernatural performance in our works and lives comes from trusting God’s Presence, not mere human effort.

Joshua needed God’s Presence and Promise at this unique Transition Time. The waiting was over; it was time to move forward into success (vv.1-4). In line with His Character, God guaranteed His Presence, promising not to fail or forsake His servant (v.5). However, Joshua’s responsibility was to cultivate Courageous Faith (vv. 6-7, 9). In like manner, God commands strength, calling us to act in faith despite ample reasons for fear. The Divine Success Strategy involves constant confession of the Word (mouth), deep reflection (meditation), and active obedience (v.8). This is the pathway to assurance of divine support (v.9). Divine Encouragement stems from God being with us everywhere.

We as Believers in Christ are called to saturate our daily lives with Scripture, speaking and living by God's promises, and acting on His commands without hesitation or vacillation. This infers rejecting fear; choosing to focus on God's Presence and Power rather than obstacles. 

In Jesus’ name, I affirm that:

Every place the sole of my foot treads upon is given to me as a possession. By the Grace of God, I break through every territorial limitation, and I expand my reach in career, ministry, influence, and impact.

Because God is with me, no person, power, or situation shall be able to stand against me all the days of my life. I am shielded by His Presence, for He will never leave me nor forsake me.

I am strong and very courageous, not relying on my own ability, but on the Power of the Holy Spirit within me. I refuse to be terrified or discouraged, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go.

I am devoted to the Word of God, meditating on and speaking the Word day and night. Therefore, I am making my way prosperous in all I do and experiencing supernatural successful in all my undertakings.

The Lord is with me always. I will not be forsaken. I am taking over my rightful position in destiny. I take possession of every territory set before me, with victory in all my endeavours. Divine Favour surrounds me, and I manifest an innovative and winning mindset.

I am stepping into my promised Land. I am taking possession of my inheritance, and I am receiving the fulfilment of every prophecy and promise God has spoken over my life.
