Bible Meditation:
2 Corinthians 12:1-10

“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness....” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

The “paradox” of Divine Possibilities is that God can use our weaknesses as platforms to showcase His Strength: “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (2 Cor. 12:9). Here, Paul defended his apostleship against “super-apostles" who boasted of visions and superior spirituality. Instead of boasting in his own spiritual heights, including “the third heaven,” Paul boasted in his limitations – a “thorn in the flesh” – to demonstrate that true ministry power is hinged on God’s Divine Possibilities, not human ability.

Divine Possibility isn't always the removal of the problem, but the provision of sufficient grace to thrive even in the face of the problem, to smile through the storms, and be refined passing through the fire unscorched. This is what Paul inferred: “I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere an in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Eph.4:13). Sometimes, it’s the case of Grace over Relief and Strength in Weakness! When we stop trying to "muscle through" in our own strength, and surrender, we experience the full Power of Christ.

“MY” speaks of the Source being Divine, not human. “Grace” refers to undeserved favour and, in this context, Divine Enablement. “Sufficient” means “It is enough”! Not “almost enough” or “partially enough.” It is perfectly measured for the trial we are in. “Made perfect in weakness" infers that God’s Power is brought to full expression when human resources are exhausted! Therefore, instead of “hiding the thorn” – being ashamed of weaknesses, infirmities, addictions, or limitations, let’s bring them to God. They are the spots where His Power can shine. We can choose contentment over temporal ease or relief, knowing that God can release Grace and use our limitations to position us for a deeper, more intimate reliance on Christ, and for His Glory! Let’s shift from self-reliance, to rely on God for Strength.

In Jesus’ name, I declare that:

My limitations are no longer liabilities, but launching pads for Divine Power. I am not a victim of circumstances. I am a victor through sufficient grace.

I have access to Divine Power to overcome every obstruction. No “thorn in the flesh” will destroy me; it will keep me dependent on God.

The Power of Christ rests on me like a tent, protecting and empowering me. I boast, not in my accomplishments, but in the Power of God at work in my frailties.

I am content and confident in God, even in the midst of trials and persecutions. His Grace is sufficient for my today, and more than enough for my tomorrow.

Prayer:
Lord, we revere Your Grace for Divine Possibilities, and surrender our limitations, to have Your Strength perfected in our frailties, in Jesus’ name.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
