“…Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not” – Numbers 11:23b
God’s Power is unlimited in creating solutions in hopeless, wilderness situations: “And the Lord said to Moses, “Has the Lord’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not” (Num.11:23). The Hand of the Lord is never short; and His Word will always come true! The Israelites were grumbling in the wilderness, craving meat, and despising the daily provision of manna. Moses was overwhelmed, burned out by the burden of leading a complaining crowd; and telling God that feeding them for a month was impossible (vv.21-22). God’s response to Moses was not a plan, but a question about His own Character: “Is my power limited?”
Today’s meditation passage throws up five significant points, namely:
God equips for Sustainable Leadership: When God calls us to a task, He provides the resources – in this case, the Holy Spirit on seventy elders – to share the load (vv.16-17). Divine possibilities often involve sharing burdens to sustain the vision.
God operates outside Human Logistics: Moses “counted” six hundred thousand men (exempting women and children) and calculated that it was impossible to feed them (vv.21-22). Human logic often sees how things cannot happen, while God acts as He has promised. The Power of God is never diminished. His Arm is not too short to perform. Divine Possibilities begin where human capability ends (v.23).
Faith in the Unseen Word: Despite his doubts, Moses obeyed, gathered the elders, and stepped into the supernatural (v.24). Divine Possibilities require obedient action, even when we don't understand the mechanism. We who believe in Christ cannot afford to measure God by our resources. When facing financial, emotional, or physical lack, rather than "It is impossible," let’s say, "God's arm is not short."
Bringing our Burnout to God: Moses was honest about his despair, bringing his burnout to God. The divine answer was to delegate and trust in His power, not to work harder in human strength.
Consecrating for New Things (v.18). To see divine possibilities, we must align our hearts with God’s Holiness.
Beloved, join me in declaring, in Jesus’ name, that:
I serve the God of all flesh; nothing is too difficult for Him. I breakthrough “wilderness” situations, by the Power of the Highest!
God's Hand is not shortened; I will see the manifestation of His Power. I refuse to be limited by human logic; I operate by divine possibilities.
The Word of the Lord concerning my life will come to pass in this season.
I shall not die in the wilderness of struggle; I am moving into my Promised Land. My needs will be met not just for a day, but consistently by God’s Power.
I step out in obedience, knowing that God is already at work on my behalf. I am not limited by my past condition or my current situation; my God is doing a new thing.

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
