DIVINE PERFORMANCE (1)

“I WILL VISIT YOU and PERFORM MY GOOD WORD toward you, and cause you to return to this place” – Jeremiah 29:11b

Thank You, Lord! By God’s Grace and Mercy, 2026 is our Year of DIVINE PERFORMANCE: “For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed in Babylon, I WILL VISIT YOU and PERFORM MY GOOD WORD toward you, and cause you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jer.29:10-11). We have transited from 2025, the Year of God-glorifying Impact, into one in which we shall experience and partake of DIVINE PERFORMANCE – through His Presence that produces Productivity and Peace, for our own PEAK PERFORMANCE in all aspects of Life and Dimensions of Destiny!

Our first meditation passage in this new year was originally sent from God to the Israelite exiles in Babylon – symbolic of the present world system, instructing them on how to live during their 70-year captivity, and offering promises of future restoration and hope. Rather than listening to false prophets, they were admonished to actively contribute to the well-being of their city of exile: “seek the peace of the city…and pray to the Lord for it….in its peace you will have peace” (v.7). He assured that His plan for their return would happen on His schedule, highlighting His control over events. Their response was to walk in divine Plan and Timing, knowing that He would fulfil His promise to bring them back. He had positive thoughts and plans for their future, plans for prosperity and hope, and not harm (vv.8-11).

God promised to listen when they called on Him; and that they would find Him if they sought with all their heart (vv.12-14). As it was then, so it is now: Finding God and being heard by Him requires seeking Him with sincere devotion and prayer, leading to Divine Performance. This refers to God acting on His promises, usually in response to faith and alignment with His Will. Divine Performance shows God working through His people’s obedience and earnest searching, even in difficult times, to bring about His Plan!

Loaded in this message are: Divine Timing for Prophetic Maturation, and the promise of Divine Visitation for Divine Performance of God’s Good Word – His Divine Agenda for Divine Restoration. His thoughts are full of Divine Possibilities, including thoughts of Peace and the expectation of reaching a Divine Destination. All of these are premised on passionate Prayers – Divine Communication! Peak Pursuit will produce Peak Performance. The Holy Spirit shall unravel these and much more in the unfolding days, weeks, and months! God is declaring: “I will visit you (Divine Presence) and perform (Divine Performance) My good word (Divine Agenda) toward you!

God is more than able to PERFORM all He has promised (Rom.4:20-21). In Year 2026, we shall partake of DIVINE PERFORMANCE for Destiny Fulfilment!
