DIVINE LIGHT AND LIFE

“In Him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men” – John 1:4

Praise God! We made it into 2024 our Year of DIVINE LIGHT AND LIFE: “In Him was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it” (Jh.1:4-5). Light is a concept that runs throughout the Bible. In the very first chapter of the Bible – Genesis 1:3, God said, “Let there be LIGHT”, and there was LIGHT.” Further, verse 9 says, “That was the TRUE LIGHT which gives light to every man coming into the world.” John then testified that He saw His glory, the glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of Grace and Truth. Without ambiguity, our Lord Jesus Christ is the Personification of both DIVINE LIGHT and DIVINE LIFE.

In this New Year, more than ever, we shall know, experience, and enjoy communion with Father-God and our Lord Jesus Christ, as LIGHT and LIFE. Light delivers from every bondage of darkness. Light is associated with Freedom and Liberty of Life. This year, we receive access and shall be ushered into Realms of Divine Light and Life; and every form of darkness shall bow to this LIGHT of LIFE in Christ Jesus.

GOD IS LIGHT: “This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that GOD is LIGHT and in Him is no darkness at all” (1 Jh.1:5). We shall know and experience our Father-God as Light, and operate in Dominion over every dimension of darkness. He is indeed the Father of Lights: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the FATHER of LIGHTS, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” (Jam.1:17). God will shower good and perfect gifts of Life upon us, in Jesus’ name!

JESUS is LIGHT: “I AM the LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT of LIFE” (Jh.8:12). We shall know and experience our Lord Jesus Christ as the TRUE LIGHT; and as we follow Him, we shall continually enjoy the LIGHT of LIFE – the Light that guarantees Winning in Life, in Jesus’s name! We shall WIN by LIGHT in all the battles of life we may face.

The Believer is LIGHT: “YOU are the LIGHT of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Mt.5:14). As we remain connected to our Lord Jesus Christ, following Him daily and basking under the perpetual beam of His Light, we are transformed to also become “the Light of the world’!

Beloved, believe the Lord and His Prophetic Word. Our heavenly Father, through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Power of the Holy Spirit, will lead, guide, uphold, and carry us through this New Year 2024 victoriously, by DIVINE LIGHT and LIFE, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
