Bible Meditation:
Jeremiah 29: 1-14

For I know the PLANS I have for you,” declares the Lord, “PLANS to prosper you and not to harm you, PLANS to give you hope and a future – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

It is important to be aware of God’s plans; but more imperative to CONNECT WITH GOD’S PLANS:For I know the PLANS I have for you,” declares the Lord, “PLANS to prosper you and not to harm you, PLANS to give you hope and a future(Jer.29:11). Redemption is the platform for Destiny Connection! If you are born again, you are entitled to connect with God’s destiny for your life.

God’s plans are perfect – designed to prosper, not to harm (Jer.29:11). God designs good for His children: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Rom.8:28). God chose us in Christ: before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Eph.1:4b). God told Jeremiah that what he would become on earth had already been decided before he was born: Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations” (Jer.1:4-5). God’s Plans precede our existence and emergence into this world.

God has a colourful destiny – bright, beautiful, and glorious plans – for us (Jer.29:11).

His Salvation Plan: God has a wonderful plan for our lives – the plan of salvation from His wrath that we justly deserve. While we merited eternal punishment, God satisfied that payment through His Son. His wonderful plan is that we continually surrender the evil desires of our flesh and conform more to His image (Rom.8:29). God’s plan is that we repent, believe, overcome sin through His power; and “walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Eph.5:15-16).

His Sanctification Plan: God has a plan for every human being He has made, but those who refuse to receive His Lordship will be unable to connect to His plan for their lives. Sin is a separator that disconnects one from his or her God-given destiny. The fulfilment of your destiny is in God’s hands and also in your hands. God has the best in mind for us all, but some people may short-change themselves through sinful living.  Paul states unequivocally: “For this is the will of God, your sanctification…” (1The.4:3).

His Impact Plan: that we shine as light and bring healing to our world as salt of the earth: “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Mt.5:13-14).

His Power Plan: Part of God’s plan is for us to continue from where He stopped on earth in relation to His character and wonder-working power: Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father (Jh.14:12).

His Inheritance Plan: we are joint-heirs with Christ – and if children, then heirsheirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together (Rom.8:17). All that God has belongs to Jesus Christ, and we are co-heirs to the same: “All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you (Jh.16:15).

His Eternal Plan: ultimately, it is part of our destiny to live with Jesus in all eternity – And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also (Jh.14:3).

Having known all these, it is important for us to daily thank God for His glorious plans and live in harmony with divine destiny!

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
