Psalm 134: 1-3

Behold, BLESS THE LORD, All you servants of the Lord, Who by night stand in the house of the Lord! Psalm 134:1

As cycles of 365 days change baton today, it’s prime time to BLESS THE ETERNAL BLESSER: Behold, bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord, who by night stand in the house of the Lord! Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. The Lord who made heaven and earth. Bless you from Zion!(Psa.134: 1-3). Having enjoyed God’s unquantifiable blessings through the decades, years, months, weeks, and days, our hearts are filled to the brim with His warm, grateful, and glorious consideration in thanksgiving. This last and shortest ascent psalm captures the worship service: The vertical (worship of God, vv.1-2), and horizontal (edification of the brethren, v.3).

This Psalm is somewhat of a benediction. First, blessings are offered to the Lord. The Hebrew word for ‘bless’ (barak) combines sincere reverence with appreciatory words of praise – the “food” God delights in (Psa.22:3). The servants of the Lord, who guarded His House by night, were called upon to continually bless the Lord. When we think of all the wondrous things God has done for us, praise and blessing for Him will enrapture us even through the night watches. Then God, who made heaven and earth, again blesses His people. It’s amazing that we sometimes forget to praise God for all of His showered blessings, but He never does. God could have left this ‘hard-to-love’ world to itself with no intervention and eventually everything would have self-destructed. But His Loving Heart wouldn’t let go!

David commanded his soul: “Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” (Psa.103: 1-2). Psalm 68:19 says, Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Our wonderful Father-God never failed to bless us DAILY, even when we sometimes forgot to bless Him in return. For us at Kingdom Capstone Outreach Ministry (KCOM), He Who declared 2022 as our “Year of Hearts, Hands, and the Blessed Life,” fully fulfilled His Word. He shepherded us by “the integrity of His Heart” and guided us by “the skilfulness of His Hands” (Psa.78:72). He also used us to shepherd others in our families, careers, and churches, to experience and enjoy the Blessed Life in Christ!

We are the servants of God, growing and walking in the revelation and reality of the Blessed Life! We owe Him our allegiance day-by-day. We are not our own, for we are bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:20). Every waking moment, we remember that we are here to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Lifting our hands to our God is telling Him that we are His servants, offering our lives to His service. We bend our knees to Him Who gave His Unfailing Word for the Year, unveiled His Heart DAILY for unhindered release of Capstone Capsules, and equipped us monthly at the Believers’ Enrichment Seminar Time (BEST). He is worthy of our service, adoration, praise, and worship!

Beloved, let’s together BLESS the ETERNAL BLESSER in this Inspired Hymn:

O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy blast, and our eternal home:

Under the shadow of your throne your saints have dwelt secure; sufficient is your arm alone, and our defense is sure.

Before the hills in order stood, or earth received its frame, from everlasting you are God, to endless years the same.

A thousand ages in your sight are like an evening gone, short as the watch that ends the night before the rising sun.

Time, like an ever-rolling stream, soon bears us all away; we fly forgotten, as a dream dies at the op’ning day.

O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come, still be our guard while troubles last, and our eternal home!

Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth” (Isa.25:1).

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
