BEGINNING

In the BEGINNING God created the heaven and the earth – Genesis 1:1

Congratulations! Welcome into the New Year 2018 – the Year of God’s Word, Spirit and Life!

God began the beginning! God had no beginning, because He is “Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End; the First and the Last” (Rev. 22:13). Until God stepped in, there was neither a beginning nor was anything created. The moment He stepped into the dark, gloomy void, creation emerged, heaven and earth began, and everything began to take on substance, form, and shape. God begins every new beginning! Life has no meaning without God. Existence makes no sense without His Presence. Our text however reveals the roles of the Spirit and the Word in creation: “…the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters…And God SAID…” The SPIRIT and the WORD are two creative and Life-giving Persons of the Almighty.

As year 2017 drew to a close, the breath of the Lord began to strongly underline these words in John 6:63 – It is the SPIRIT who gives LIFE; the flesh profits nothing. The WORDS that I speak to you are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE (NKJV). Therefore, for us in Kingdom Capstone Outreach Ministry (KCOM) and all who partake of the Grace and Unction flowing through us, the crux of God’s Heart for 2018 is encapsulated in three words: Word, Spirit and Life! In 2018, the Lord is speaking His living Words to save, cleanse, deliver, heal, guide, and guard us, and to call into existence all that He has purposed. The Spirit of God will in turn continually confirm His Words; for the two are eternally united in purpose, presence, and power – to ensure the fulfilment of John 10:10b: “…I have come that they may have LIFE, and that they may have it more abundantly!”

The SPIRIT and the WORD are not just God’s creative instruments or tools; they are the very Persons of the Triune God! By His grace, these three living Words – Word, Spirit and Life – are the divine tripod, basis, and structure for our ministry and messages to humankind and the Body of Christ in 2018. Every word, sentence, paragraph, and daily Capstone Capsule; every assignment, instruction or opportunity to write, speak, teach, minister, publish, preach, pray, and prophesy will be vehicles for God’s WORD to be transmitted, for His SPIRIT to move with unrestricted and impactful flow, and His abundant, unlimited and endless LIFE to be released and received! May these be your portions as you follow on, in Jesus name!

As we step into this first day of the New Year with God, we need Him to give meaning to our lives, sense to our existence, and definition to our destinies. We need Him to breathe fresh LIFE into the dark, dying or decaying issues of our lives. Beginning from today, through Capstone Capsules, the Lord is speaking and sending 365 Words – One Word Each Day –into our lives and destinies. As you read, hear, study, believe, confess, meditate on, and embrace these words with a willing and obedient heart, you’ll see your life take a turn for the best and your destiny rejuvenated for distinction. Jesus says in Matthew 4:4, “...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” The proceeding WORDS of God will ensure unhindered Supply of His SPIRIT and release of His abundant and endless Life, in Jesus name!
