THE UPRIGHT HEART (2)

...The wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow on the string, that they may shoot secretly at the UPRIGHT in HEART”Psalm 11:2

THE UPRIGHT HEART (1)

“My defence is of God, who saves the UPRIGHT in HEART” Psalm 7:10

Divine Defence is the guaranteed portion of the UPRIGHT HEART: “My defence is of God, who saves the UPRIGHT in HEART” (Psa.7:10). In this key meditative verse, David was saying: “I now leave my cause in the hands of my Judge – the Righteous Judge. I have no uneasy or fearful apprehensions, because I know God will save the upright in heart”!

THE REJOICING HEART (2)

“Glory in His holy name; let the HEARTS of those REJOICE who SEEK the Lord!” – Psalm 105:3

Seeking God is the root of the REJOICING HEART: “Glory in His holy name; let the HEARTS of those REJOICE who SEEK the Lord! SEEK the Lord and His strength; SEEK His face evermore” (Psa.105:3-4). The first six verses of this psalm depict how David, God’s anointed, thoroughly enjoyed the Lord, and we should too. He gave clear instructions to turn our hearts to the Lord:

THE REJOICING HEART (1)

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; MY HEART trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore MY HEART greatly REJOICES…” – Psalm 28:7a

THE GLAD HEART

“Therefore MY HEART is GLAD, and my glory rejoices; my flesh also will rest in hope” – Psalm 16:9

THE MEDITATING HEART (3)

“I call to remembrance my song in the night; I MEDITATE within my HEART, and my spirit makes diligent search” – Psalm 77:6

THE MEDITATING HEART (2)

My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the MEDITATION of my HEART shall give understanding– Psalm 49:3

THE MEDITATING HEART (1)

Be angry, and do not sin. MEDITATE within your HEART on your bed, and be still” – Psalm 4:4

GOD SEARCHES OUR HEARTS

SEARCH me, O God, and KNOW MY HEART; TRY me, and know my anxieties” Psalm 139:23

GOD TESTS HEARTS (3)

“TEST me, LORD, and TRY me, EXAMINE my HEART and my mind” – Psalm 26:2, NIV

We cannot overemphasize the truth that GOD TESTS HEARTS: “TEST me, LORD, and TRY me, EXAMINE my HEART and my mind” (Psa.26:2, NIV). The New King James says: “EXAMINE me, O Lord, and PROVE me; TRY my MIND and my HEART.” Most Bible versions interchangeably use the words: Test, Try, Prove, and Examine.

Our Vision

The vision of KCOM is that:
"the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas" (Habakkuk 2:14).
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the Glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
